Hazelnut Hiking Trail

This trail, complete with boardwalk and steps, is indeed a wilderness adventure. It will take visitors around scenic Crescent lake and, for the more adventurous, hike atop Hazelnut Hill to get a breathtaking view of the surrounding area. Hazelnut Hill is connected to the mainland by a 40 metre bridge (an attraction in itself). Learn about the early days of logging on Crescent Lake and Tommy's Arm River. Sit and relax at Cressie's Castle and you may even get a glimpse of Cressie, the monster of Crescent Lake.
