Bay Roberts Cable Building

Former Western Union Building restored to house the "Road To Yesterday" Museum, Archives and Christopher Pratt Gallery on upper level; and Town Council Chambers on lower level.

The museum has artifacts, photos and manuscripts depicting the early lifestyles and commerce of the area, as well as a genealogy data base.

 Archives;  To use the archives patrons are required to pay a one-time user registration fee of $5.00. Reproductions of photographs may be ordered for a fee. Photocopying services are available. The archives has an extensive collection of sealer's registries, photographs dating from the 1920s, early editions of the Bay Roberts Guardian, business records, local authors' works, cemetery inscriptions, business cards. All archival material must be consulted in the reading room and no original material may be taken from the archives
