This the oldest surviving Methodist church in St. John's, the cornerstone was laid in
1872. The church is built of Newfoundland stone and slate quarried from the Southside Hills of the city.
It was designated a Heritage Structure in April, 2000. A photo
gallery of ministers and other important people in the history of the
church is on view, also other church memorabilia.
