Badger, a beautiful central Newfoundland town, is located 30 km west of Grand Falls-Windsor. The town of Badger is situated on the banks of Badger Brook, Little Red Indian River and the Exploits River.

The town was established in 1911 and has long been synonymous with the logging industry in Newfoundland. There are many activities in Badger to attract tourists. The T'Railway  runs through the town and there is great fishing and hunting areas.
