One can boat in one direction out to the ocean through the Bay of Islands or in the other direction to Deer Lake. If speed is not your preference, you can lie back in a raft and let the current take you lazily down the river.

Steady Brook has a very flat terrain for the walking or running enthusiast. If you follow the Steady Brook Falls trail, you will witness a very powerful force of nature when you view the splendour of the cascading falls.
