Point Amour Lighthouse Provincial Historic Site

This second tallest lighthouse in Canada was first illuminated in 1858. It's still a functioning light station. Climb the 109 foot tower, only the last two flights are ladders. The attached dwelling, the former lightkeeper's dwelling, is now an interpretation centre dealing with the history of the Labrador Straits area as well as the lighthouse itself.
