Historic Attractions & Museums - Grand Bank

It was settled in the 1650s by the French, and was taken over by the English early in the eighteenth century. Grand Bank is synonymous with the fishery, especially the fishery carried out on the Grand Banks, the richest fishing grounds in the world which lie in a wide area south and west of Newfoundland.
