By Sea:
By car from the Ferry at Port aux Basques:
From the Ferry, take the Trans Canada Highway, Route 1, East. Travel East for
approximately 8 hours (800 kms), passing Corner Brook, Deer Lake, Grand Falls-Windsor and Gander and through
Terra Nova National Park. Port Blandford is
located on the eastern border of the Park. There are three entrances to Port
Blandford -- all taking you to Main Street.
By car from the Ferry in Argentia:
From the Ferry, take Route 100 to Whitbourne. At Whitbourne, turn left onto the
Trans Canada Highway, Route 1, travel West for approximately 1 hour to Clarenville. From Clarenville, continue to travel west on the TCH Route 1 for
approximately another 20 minutes to Port Blandford. There are three entrances to
Port Blandford -- all taking you to Main Street.
By Air:
Into
Deer Lake Airport:
Take the Trans Canada Highway, Route 1, East passing Grand Falls-Windsor,
Gander, and Glovertown. Travel through Terra Nova National Park. Port Blandford
is located on the eastern border of the Park. There are three entrances to Port
Blandford -- all taking you to Main Street.
Into
Gander Airport:
Take the Trans Canada Highway, Route 1, East passing Glovertown and traveling
through Terra Nova National Park. Port Blandford is located on the eastern
border of the Park. There are three entrances to Port Blandford -- all taking
you to Main Street.
Into
St. John's Airport:
Take the Trans Canada Highway, Route 1, for approximately 2 hours to
Clarenville. From Clarenville continue to travel west on the TCH Route 1 for
approximately another 20 minutes to Port Blandford. There are three entrances to
Port Blandford all taking you to Main Street.
